Center Post Net Repair Kit Installation Instructions
“PND-1”
- Remove all objects from the existing center post area.
- Include anything on or near the center post where it meets with the top of the net.
- Clean area with included alcohol swab.
- This will help ensure a strong bond with the adhesive backed material
- If other adhesives have already been attempted
- This will help ensure a strong bond with the adhesive backed material
- (Like duct tape)
- Some additional cleaning may be required
- Some additional elbow grease may be required
- (Like duct tape)
- Let dry
- Fold the very center of 1 part #A horizontally in half
- Remove adhesive backing
- Adhere canvas strip vertically to the bottom (sticky) side of the same part #A
- Make sure the attached piece of canvas is resting directly on top of where the center post is or will be.
- Adhere to net material w/ folded portion on top
- Make sure the attached piece of canvas is resting directly on top of where the center post is or will be.
- Press, with solid pressure along the whole area that the material covers
- Press outA loud word(s) spoken by a player or line judge(s) to indicate to the referee and/or players that a live ball has not touched in the required court space. The preferred word to indicate a line call is “OUT”. Distinctive hand signals can be used in conjunction with a line call. Words such as “wide”, “long”, “no”, “deep” are also... More as many air bubbles as possible
- Once adhesion holds continue to step 4.
- Take both pieces labeled #B and remove adhesive backing
- Each piece should be mounted on opposite sides of the center post.
- Loop each piece underneath and through to the other side
- Kind of like making an informal basket
- Adhering to the material added in Step 3
- Loop each piece underneath and through to the other side

- Fold the very center of other part #A, horizontally in half.
- Remove adhesive backing
- Adhere to net material w/ folded portion on top
- Make sure the attached piece of canvas is resting directly on top of where the center post is or will be, BUT underneath the prior #A piece of material.
